But I've seen too many buyers make mistakes that end up costing them time, money, and unnecessary stress. If you're thinking about going the new construction route, here are some of the biggest pitfalls to avoid.
1. Not Using a Realtor
Many buyers assume they don't need an agent when buying new construction because the builder's sales rep is there to help. However, the sales rep works for the builder, not the buyer. A Realtor ensures you get the best deal, protects your interests, and helps navigate the contract and inspection process.
